Dear Colleague:
MLM is a fairly simple business. It is not easy, but it is simple. The skills needed for moderate success are quite
elementary: prospecting, presenting, follow up, and teaching.
So why does it seem so hard for so many people?
For most people it is not their inability to learn these skills, nor a shortage of mentors to teach them. They have been to seminar after seminar, and listened to audio program after audio program. They’ve learned NLP, developed sales techniques, practiced scripts, role played, gone to retreats, and applied for special dispensation from the Pope.
So why haven’t they broken through to the level of success they want? Why haven’t you?
The real issue for most people is their feelings of unworthiness and low self-esteem. This is what causes fear, procrastination and inactivity.
Suppose you grew up chronically overweight. Or you had poor social skills and weren’t one of the “in” crowd at school.
Perhaps you were abused by a parent or guardian, and made to feel like garbage.
Do you really think you can just grow up and snap your fingers and lose these feelings of unworthiness? Most people in situations like these go into adulthood still carrying serious unworthiness issues on a subconscious level.
A dramatic number of people today have an anti-money bias. They subconsciously hate rich people and see money as a bad thing. Yet they think they want to be rich and successful.
“Not me,” you say. I have no issues with that at all. Well let me ask you a few select questions from a Prosperity Quiz I developed:
Do you secretly fear that if you became wealthy your family and friends might not like you anymore?
When you grew up, were you ever told things like, “We may not be rich, but at least we’re honest!”?
Did your religious upbringing teach you that it is noble to sacrifice now, and that your reward will come in the afterlife?
Did you (or do you) feel guilty when you started to earn more than your parents did?
Were you raised to “fit in” and not do anything to stand out?
Did you grow up liking shows like Dallas, Dynasty, Gilligan’s Island, MASH, and The Beverley Hillbillies, where rich people were always presented as unscrupulous and conniving, or pretentious and bumbling?
Situations like these create “lack” programming. And the worst part is, you don’t even know it is there! So you join the business and set the goal to build a large, successful network.
Without you being aware of it, you are getting counter messages from your subconscious mind. It’s telling you things like, “You better stop doing what you are doing, or you are going to become one of those bad rich people. Your family will resent you, and you won’t fit in with your circle of friends anymore. You’ll have to sell your soul and then you will rot and burn in Hell, with gnashing of teeth. You better sabotage this right now, so you can stay feeling safe, comfortable and noble.”
So what happens?
So you don’t do a prospect list. Or you do one, but you make excuses on why you shouldn’t contact the best prospects. “Aw they wouldn’t be interested. She makes too much money. He is very skeptical.”
You procrastinate doing things. You don’t follow up with prospects. You don’t do the very simple things that make up MLM success.
When prosperity consciousness is developed, these issues go away.
If you think this is an issue for you, there is an upcoming event you will want to know about. It’s a Tele-Seminar for Networking Times magazine titled, “Claim Your Success!
Understanding the Laws of Prosperity.”
This one-evening course is a beginner’s introduction to the Universal Laws of prosperity, and how to manifest them in your life. After completing this short but powerful program, you will:
* Recognize the kind of negative programming which can keep your prosperity from you;
* Eliminate any self-sabotage tendencies you may have; and,
* Boldly claim the prosperity that is your birthright!
For details about enrolling in this program, go to:

Most people are simply amazed at how much lack programming they have downloaded over the years. They get it from their religion (“It’s spiritual to be poor.”), their family (“Why would you want to be a doctor. Don’t you know girls are nurses?”), their teachers (“Be realistic. If you don’t set your goals too high, you won’t be disappointed.”), their friends (Don’t you think that dress is a little too ostentatious? Couldn’t you wear something simpler?”), and of course the media (The TV shows I mentioned earlier, movies like Titanic and Spiderman, books like The Nanny Diaries and John Grisham novels, etc.).
Once you uncover this lack programming and eliminate it, you no longer get the conflicting messages. It’s a lot easier to get and stay motivated. You take more action, get faster results, and you get even more motivated. It’s a vicious cycle of success! Why don’t you get on it now?
Have a great week!
